About us

Travel & Wildlife guide us in search of inspiring destinations and encounters with nature.

Michi mit kleinen Affen in Ecuador

Michael

It must work the second time! Covid broke off the first attempt. But the many previous experiences in South America have left their mark. And it’s time to start again, I said in 2023.

As a carpenter, I swapped my overtime for days off to travel, visiting Southeast Asia, America and Europe. This time all starts in South America again, and it has already taken so much more time. Nearly three years later I’m closer than ever before to the northern destination. I’ve taken countless photos and videos along the way, and are always lacking behind to share all of the precious wildlife.

And to make sure I don’t get bored enjoying nature, my baby, the Land Cruiser, keeps me busy from time to time.

“What if I just join you?”

Plans can change that quickly. Maybe a bit spontaneous, but with enough travel experience myself, I joined the adventure. I thought it’d be helpful if at least one person spoke good Spanish? And it did make the travelling so much more authentic.

As a translator, I like to write and look after our texts when we’re not on the road. Or I devote myself to the little things that are part of everyday life: cooking, washing and resting.

Der Landcruiser in Argentinien

Teju

Our most faithful companion: the Toyota Land Cruiser.

It drives us over hill and dale, from A to B, over bridges and through rivers.  And hopefully doesn’t ever get stuck.

The name is rather tragicomic, as we have unfortunately already run over at least one teju (large lizard). So, in their honour it is.
